Marketing Opportunities
While the Chamber is not a social club there are plenty of events for direct, face to face selling, and widely circulated publications to tell your business story.
12 monthly “Business After Hours” events are designed to get you noticed and connected to prospective new clients. Members can even host these events to showcase their business location and products.
12 monthly “General Membership Luncheons” provide a venue for distributing promotional items, networking, and hearing experts address topical issues impacting your business or the community.
12 monthly issues of the Chamber’s popular Action Report Magazine provide an inexpensive venue for advertising your business while keeping you up to date on business related issues. Over 1,400 copies are distributed monthly directly to business owners and managers!
The annual Chamber Business Directory & Community Profile is the” go to publication” for B2B selling and buying. Each member gets three listings, one in the alphabetical section under business name, one under the business classification, and one under the key contact person. Members use this to find preferred suppliers to fill their needs - and this book is distributed to new comers.
The Chamber’s annual Business Expo event provides members with booth space to present products and services to the public and other businesses in a fun and attractive venue. This year over 85 local businesses showcased their businesses serving approximately 500 visitors at Yakima’s Convention Center.
The Chamber’s Business and Visitor’s Web Page features all current members, information about the community, an economic forecast and opportunities for members to promote their business on-line. New features added this year allow members to go online and ad features about their business or use banners to draw more attention.
